Cyprus Arbitration Day 2024

As Cyprus continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for arbitration, an upocoming second ‘Cyprus Arbitration Day’ (CAD) is scheduled for May 19-20, 2024, at the Grand Resort in Limassol. This significant event builds on the tremendous success of last year’s seminar and aims to further establish Cyprus as a leader in international dispute resolution.

The opening reception will set the stage for an event filled with insightful discussions and expert panels. This year’s CAD will focus on critical topics such as modernizing arbitration laws, the intersection of technology and arbitration, and the evolving role of expert witnesses in arbitration. The seminar will feature keynote speeches from distinguished figures in the arbitration community, including Constantine Partasides KC of Three Crowns, London, and Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of UNCITRAL.

Renowned legal professionals will lead discussions on the latest advancements in arbitration laws, offering insights into how Cyprus is adapting its legal infrastructure to cater to the demands of international standards. Panels will also delve into the challenges and prospects of international dispute resolution, reflecting the rapid changes in the global economy and legal practices.

The event will conclude with a gala dinner, providing attendees the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and discuss the day’s themes in a relaxed setting.

We look forward to the in-depth discussions that promise to enrich our understanding and practice of arbitration in Cyprus and beyond. For detailed information on the event agenda, visit the CAD website.
